WINAMAC - Norma Lee Bay, 71, of Winamac, died at 8:49 a.m., Saturday, June 30, at her residence in Winamac.
She was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Union, MO, to Philip and Anna Espowe Skornia. She married Bernard John "Bernie" Bay on June 10, 1961 in Washington, MO. He survives.

Mrs. Bay and her husband lived in Chicago, until moving to Winamac in 1999. She was retired from St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, where she worked in housekeeping. She attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac.She enjoyed gardening and walking her dog, Angel, in the Winamac Town Park. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Friends may call after 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m., (Wednesday, July 4), at the funeral home with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating.
Memorial donations may be given to the Winamac Town Park.
Deolreum L. Cloud
August 17, 1918 to June 29, 2012
WINAMAC - Deolreum L. "Deola" Cloud, 93, Winamac, passed away at 6:30 a.m., Friday, June 29, at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in White County, to the late Laban and Gertrude Davis Nice. Deola was married to Jacob Rolland Hoffman on Oct. 30, 1935. He passed away in February 1946. She then married Lloyd L. Cloud on July 25, 1948. He passed away in December 1959.

Mrs. Cloud was a member of Paul's Chapel Church, Pulaski. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

WINAMAC - Wayne Planck, 93, of Star City, died at 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, at the Pulaski Healthcare Center, Winamac.
He was born May 27, 1919, in Huntington, to the late Sylvester V. and Nella Clark Planck. He married Marie Abbott on July 10, 1939 in Star City/ She survives.

Mr. Planck was a farmer in the Star City area for many years. He also ran an excavation business for several years. He attended the Star City United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing. He took up woodworking following his retirement. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday (June 30), at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Mabry officiating. Burial will be in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.

Alladean L. Clouser

WINAMAC - Alladean L. Clouser, 90, of Winamac, died at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.
She was born Feb. 19, 1922, in Medaryville, to the late George J. and Grace A. Tetzloff Kroft. She married Ernest Clouser on Dec. 20, 1941 in North Judson. He died July 26, 1998.

Mrs. Clouser was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winamac. She was a 50-year member of OES Tippecanoe Chapter #96 and a Past Matron, having served three times. She was a Rainbow Mother Advisor. She was also a 50-year member of the Purdue Extension Home Demonstration Clubs. She was a member of the Pulaski County REACT. She served as a 4H leader, Cub Scout & Girl Scout leader, and choir mom. She was a member of the former Pulaski County Arts Association.
Mrs. Clouser served as director of the Pulaski County Red Cross for 12 years. She received the Clara Barton Award for her many years of volunteer service. She was instrumental in the creation of the Pulaski County United Way. She was a reserve deputy and dispatcher for the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department. In recognition of her many years of community service she received the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce's H.J. Halleck Communtiy Service Award in 2005.
Over the course of her lifetime, Mrs. Clouser worked as a laborer at Kingsbury Ordinace Plant and managed the bakery at Broken Arrow Campground. She worked at the Bonnell Flower Shop for many years. She was also a cook for several years at the Winamac School system.
She was well-known for playing the organ, piano, or keyboard at church, weddings, and funerals. She enjoyed painting, sewing,fishing and baking.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac; and one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday. OES services will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday (July 1), at the First United Methodist Church, Winamac, with Rev. Matt Landry officiating. Burial will be in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Red Cross or the Pulaski County United Fund.

WINAMAC - Georgia M. March, 92, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Winamac, passed away at 4:28 a.m., Thursday, June 21, in Gladstone, MO.
She was born May 20, 1920, in Pulaski, to the late George and Maude G. Utterback Pugh. She married James Edgar Byrd, Sr., and later Darl D. March who both preceded her in death.

WINAMAC - Cynthia L. Jackson, 54, of Winamac, passed away at 8:17 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, in Winamac.
She was born Aug. 27, 1957, in Muskegon, MI, to Alfred and Marsha Irwin Juergens. She was married on March 12, 1988, in Mount Holly, PA, to Richard V. Jackson. He survives.

Mrs. Jackson was a resident of Winamac for 14 years. She was a former resident of Chesterton. She loved to read, cook, crochet and knit. She also loved animals and nature. She was a election worker for Rich Grove Township.
