District 3 includes Franklin, Jefferson, Rich Grove and Tippecanoe Townships.

Boswell has mailed a notice to all persons eligible to participate in the June 21caucus within the 10-day deadline before the caucus. A copy of the notice is also being sent to all eligible precinct committeemen who have been on file with the Republican State Committee at least 30 days prior to the date of the vacancy.

The caucus procedures are established under Indiana Republican Party rules.

Interested candidates must file the proper documents with the caucus chairman (Boswell) at least 72 hours prior to the caucus. The candidate may select a caucus member to speak on his/her behalf for the purpose of recommending the candidate. Following the two-minute speech by the caucus member on behalf of the candidate, the candidate will have an opportunity to address the caucus in a three-minute statement.

Caucus voting will follow by secret ballot.
