Emergency room visits for COVID-diagnosed patients were 0.6 percent, up 0.1 percent from the week before. The percent of all deaths in the U.S. due to COVID was 0.9 percent, up 0.1 percent from the previous week.

- COVID-19 activity remains low in most areas but is expected to increase in the coming weeks.
- Seasonal influenza activity remains low nationally but continues to increase slowly.
- RSV activity is moderate and continues to increase in most areas of the United States, particularly in young children.
What to know: Indiana and Pulaski County
- As of Dec. 6, the amount of acute respiratory illness in Indiana causing people to seek healthcare remains at moderate levels. (The data was last updated Dec. 6.) The trend of new respiratory infections is growing in the state, particularly RSV.
- According to the CDC, emergency department visits in Pulaski County are low for COVID, flu and RSV, but increasing for both COVID and RSV.
