Cutting the ribbon were Parkview administrator Max Jones, PCHD officer Dr. Timothy Day and PCHD administrator Edwina Guffey.
Special guests included Indiana Department of Health representatives Anne Lowe, Regional Health Service Director, and Pam Pontones, Deputy Health Commissioner. Also in attendance were members of the Pulaski Health Foundation, several county elected officials and members of Francesville’s Uptown Project.
“The opening of the health department office on the west side represents a significant step toward improving access to healthcare services for these communities, which was achieved at no cost to the county,” reports Edwina Guffey, health department director.
“This initiative came to realization thanks to the collective efforts of the local healthcare organization’s administrator, Max Jones, and the leadership team to secure resources, space, and operational support,” Guffey added.
Parkview Haven’s Max Jones shared that this partnership exemplifies a commitment to ensuring every resident has access to quality health care.
“The west side location will allow stronger connections within the community, helping to ensure that residents receive timely and comprehensive public health services,” Jones said. “This effort underscores the power of partnerships in addressing local needs while maintaining financial responsibility and promoting the well-being of the entire county. Together, we are stronger.”
