Joseph V. Milo

April 25, 1957 to June 10, 2024

ROYAL CENTER - Joseph Victor Milo, 67, Star City, passed away Monday, June 10, at Chase Center in Logansport.

He was born April 25, 1957, the son of the late Ed and Roxanne Milo. He was a 1975 graduate of Culver High School and attended Purdue University, where he discovered a love of writing.

Survivors include his brother Ed (Mary Ann) Milo, North Judson; sister Brenda (Craig) Gilman; and nephews Josh and Caleb Gilman, all of Star City; nieces Andrea (Robert) Davis, Winamac, and Melissa (Troy) Ledman, Delphi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Victor and Ethel Clements and Michael and Pauline Milo; and an infant brother Brian Rand Milo.

Mr. Milo supervised a cleaning crew at Wabash Center in Lafayette, where he was greatly loved and admired for the tremendous amount of care, patience and enthusiasm he showed his crew. He was a talented musician, self-taught on lead guitar, with an impressive knack for playing a variety of instruments by ear. He will be remembered for his warm smile, the joy he brought to every family gathering, his quick-witted sense of humor and the love and kindness he showed to everyone he knew. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center, Indiana.
