Dennis E. Pitcher

May 15, 1941 to May 15, 2023

WINAMAC - Dennis E. Pitcher, 82, of Winamac, passed away Monday, May 15, surrounded by his family.

He was born May 15, 1941 in Stevens Point, WI to the late Glen L. and Lahoma N. [Skoor] Pitcher. On Aug. 16, 1986, he married Elizabeth “Ann” Cottrell in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Pitcher was a lifelong truck driver, having worked for Galbreath and later DH&W in Winamac. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, and Eagles. He was an amazing craftsman who enjoyed woodworking and carving. He collected vintage items with history behind them. He was always willing to help anyone in need (including family home remodel jobs). He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his best friend and wife, Ann. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 18, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac .The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 19, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bell Center Cemetery in Bell Center, IN.
