Frank J. Eiler
July 18, 1918 to May 11, 2010
WINAMAC - Frank J. Eiler, 91, of 515 E. 13th St., Winamac, died at 3:10 a.m., Tuesday, May 11, at LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte.
He was born July 18, 1918, in Chicago, to Joseph and Rose Bookwell Eiler. He married Dorothy Clara Krohn on Oct. 18, 1941 in Winamac. She died Aug. 7, 2004.

Nyla (Neal) Loomis, North Judson, Daughter & son-in-law
Shayla (Chris) Brown, Wanatah, Granddaughter
Cory (Jamie) Busse, North Judson, Grandson
Blaine Joseph Busse, Great grandson
He was preceded in death by:

Mr. Eiler was a carpenter and a farmer in the Winamac area for many years. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and served several years overseas. He was a member of VFW Post 1728 in Winamac. He was also a member of Local 615 of the Carpenters Union.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., (Friday, May 14), at the funeral home, with John Locke officiating. Burial will be in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
Memorial donations may be given to the Hickory Creek Recreation fund.
