FRANCESVILLE - Donald J. “Don” Albrecht, 76, lifelong farmer from Francesville, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 24 with his family by his side at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette.

He was born Dec. 18, 1945 in Francesville to the late Jacob and Emily Federer Albrecht Jr. He graduated from Francesville High School in 1963. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Albrecht lived a life devoted to God. He loved his pets and was an amazing brother and uncle.

A private service will be held at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Private burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
