KEWANNA - Frank A. Hines Sr., 71, of Winamac/Kewanna passed away at 9:52 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Chase Center in Logansport following a sudden illness.

Born on Aug. 27, 1950 in Winamac, he was the son of the late Adam and Frances Hurlburt Hines.

Survivors include his son Frank (Katie) Hines Jr. of Wheatfield; daughters Myra (Rodney) Hines of Kewanna and Becky (Damien) Hines of Denham; plus grandchildren Jacob Hines, Trevor Thomas, Donita Hines, Kinsey Wolford, Xaiden Stout and Zurie Stout; and great-grandchild, Kadyn Hines. He is also survived by brother Adam (Bonnie)Hines; sisters Rosemary (William) Marsh and Cindy Cole; brother-in-law Ray Katschke, church wife Mindy Herren; step-son Jason Herren and many other family and friends.

He is also preceded in death by his wife Donita Hines; step-son Brian Wallace and siblings Geneva Shidler, Robert Hines and Alberta Katschke, as well as many other loved ones.

Mr. Hines worked at Winamac Steel for over 20 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball, hunting and auto racing.

A celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
