Judith G. Malchow

FRANCESVILLE - Judith Glee Malchow, 85, of Francesville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, at her residence.
She was born May 31, 1936 in Gary. Her parents were Robert H. and P. Justin Cary Hawley. On June 22, 1963, she married Paul H. Malchow in South Bend. He died June 21, 2004.

Mrs. Malchow graduated from South Bend Riley High School in 1955. She received her bachelor’s degree in education in 1959 from Indiana University. She earned her master’s degree in the 1970s from Indiana University South Bend. She was an elementary teacher in South Bend for several years. She also taught elementary school at the Beaver Township school. She retired from West Central Schools after a career of 31 years. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Tippecanoe Christian Church in Winamac. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Notre Dame football and IU basketball fan.
Visitation will be from11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, at Tippecanoe Christian Church, 5292 W CR 750 S, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the church with Rev. Ed Clark officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Cemetery.
