WiNAMAC - Carolyn S. Zeider, 85, of Star City, passed away at 12:03 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

She was born April 14, 1936 in Star City to the late Willard McMillen and Myrtle Belle Spears Berkshire. She graduated from Star City High School in 1954. On Nov. 18, 1955, she married Wayne D. Zeider in Star City. He passed away Oct. 2, 1992.

Mrs. Zeider was a devoted homemaker and worked as the bookkeeper and office manager for Zeider farms for many years. She was active in numerous clubs in her younger years and was a proud member of the Democratic Party. She was always very supportive of her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home with Rev. David Broad officiating. Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery in Star City.
