FRANCESVILLE - Jacob Anthony Gutwein, 25, of Rensselaer, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born June 12, 1996 in Valparaiso. He attended Rensselaer High School.

Mr. Gutwein was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and Jasper County Retired Iron Club. He enjoyed spending time at home, as well as working on computers. He was an avid gamer. He will be sadly missed.

A private service and burial will be held.
