WINAMAC - William R. “Billy” Hedger, 65, of Winamac, passed away at 10:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, at Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo.

He was born Sept. 28, 1955 in Winamac to the late Donald Little and Mary Marie Darby Hedger. He graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1975 and enjoyed being part of the Boy Scouts. On June 11, 1976, he married Kathie Short. She survives.

Mr. Hedger retired from Galbreath Inc. in 2010. He was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and tinkering around in the garage. He loved his family very much, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

No services will be held.
