Alma R. Moody McFarland

WINAMAC - Alma R. Moody McFarland, 89, of Winamac, passed away at 3:15 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22, at Hickory Creek Healthcare in Winamac.
She was born Oct. 21, 1931 in Pulaski, to the late Frank Louis and Catherine “Katie” Foerg Worley. She graduated from Pulaski High School. She married William D. “Dudley” Moody on Aug. 15, 1953. He passed away July 18, 1972. On Aug. 30, 1974, she married Kenneth R. “Kenny” McFarland. He passed away June 25, 2016.

Mrs. McFarland was a lifetime member of the Winamac VFW Auxiliary Post #1728. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially playing cards and Yahtzee. She also enjoyed fishing and bowling. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., at the funeral home Rev. Andrew DeKeyser officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.
