After retirement, Mrs. Schultz and her husband enjoyed spending time in St. Petersburg, FL. She was a longtime member of Star City United Methodist Church. She was a proud farm wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed cooking and baking. During planting and harvest, she made sure the men never went without something homemade to eat. For many years, she had fun with BINGO and Bunco and in recent years, she enjoyed “going north.” She also liked playing scratch-offs. She loved her family very much, especially spending time with and hearing stories about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving woman and she will be dearly missed.
Private visitation will be held at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A private graveside service will be held at Star City West Cemetery in Star City, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville.
