FRANCESVILLE - Mary Louise Pfledderer, 82, of Francesville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, at her home.

She was born Aug. 4, 1938 in Medaryville, to the late Leslie and Leona Mae Archer Lewark. On Dec. 16, 1961, she married Adam R. Pfledderer. He passed away on Jan. 2, 2010.

Mrs. Pfledderer had two jobs throughout her life, working at Medaryville Garment Factory and Schumacher’s Factory in Rensselaer. She loved helping watch children for family and friends. She was fondly known as “Big Granny.” She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and playing games on her tablet. She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. The funeral service will be at 11a.m., Thursday, Sept. 24, at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Fugett officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.
