WINAMAC - Virgil E. "Gene" Fisher, 77, Francesville, died at 9:45 p.m., Sunday, May 22,  at Jasper County Hospital, Rensselaer.

He was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Francesville, to the late Russell and Mabel Freeman Fisher.

Ronald R. Fisher, Charolette, NC, Brother
Several Nieces & Nephews

John L. Fisher, Brother
Norman V. Fisher, Brother
Audrey J. Livingston, Sister

Mr. Fisher was a Korean War veteran. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Francesville, and the VFW in Reynolds. He was also a member of the National Model Railroad Association. He was retired from Plymouth Tube in Winamac.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 26, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be  at 11 a.m., Friday (May 27), at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery, Winamac.
