WINAMAC - Edd L. Stafford, 69, of Winamac, formerly of Monterey, passed away at 8 p.m., Weddnesday, April 27, at IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Jan. 30, 1942 in Dyersberg, TN, the son of the late James E. and Mamie Hughlong Stafford. He married Janice M. Shanks on Feb. 27, 1965, in Chicago. She survives.

Mr. Stafford was a mechanic. He was a former resident of Monterey, moving to Winamac 18 months ago.He also was a bus driver for Culver Community Schools.

Visitation will be after 12 noon, Monday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Monday, May 2), at the funeral home, with Pastor Don Franklin officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.
