Diana L. Crisp

June 2, 1942 to January 23, 2019

FRANCESVILLE - Diana L. Crisp, 76, of Rensselaer, formerly of Earl Park, passed away at 2:50 a.m., Wednesday, Jan, 23, at Rensselaer Care Center, Rensselaer.

She was born June 2, 1942 in Francesville, to the late George Kenneth and Gladys Grace Shawver Haring. She married Roger P. Crisp on Oct. 21, 1960 in Francesville. He survives.

Grandchildren: Brady Crisp, Keith (Cassie) Kirsch, Jesi Sortwell, Sam and Michaela Crisp, Brad (Steph) Birge, Carrie (Jenn) Birge, Dustin (Shaela) Kult, Tiffani (Jaden) Dickerson, and Dionyssi Crisp.
Great-Grandchildren: Landyn and Kasen Martin, Axton Sortwell, Braylon and Beckett Crisp, Stormi Borders and Brooklyn Kempf, Aubrey, Landon and Jayla Birge, Braxen and Maverick Dickerson. Two more great grandchildren expected, in June, Sparkle Kirsch and in July, Baby Dickerson.

Mrs. Crisp was a member of the United States Canoe Association. She was an EMT for the Benton County Ambulance Service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and river running. She never met a stranger and seemingly wore a sign that said "talk to me." She was like a second mother to many kids. The family would like to thank the Rensselaer Care Center for the special care shown to Diana and her family for the last two years.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. (Sunday), at the funeral home with  Pastor James Kethchen officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville at a later date.
