Lowell L. Reinhold

January 16, 1921 to January 18, 2019

WINAMAC - Lowell L. Reinhold, 98, of Winamac (formerly of Monterey), passed away at 6:28 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac

He was born Jan. 16, 1921 in Monterey, to the late Valentine F. and Mabel Bitterling Reinhold. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1938. On Dec. 24, 1939, he married Susie V. Calhoun. She passed away July 19, 2009. The couple were longtime members of the Monterey United Methodist Church.

Mr. Reinhold was a lifelong dairy farmer in the Monterey area. He was a good neighbor and friend; always willing to help fellow farmers when they needed it. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially farming and gardening as well as caring for farm animals. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
