MEDARYVILLE - Betty L. Hilton, 82, of Medaryville, passed away at 8:21 a.m., Saturday, March 19, at Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte.

She was born Sept. 9, 1928 in rural Jasper County to the late Charles W. & Alma I. Hess Howe. She married Keith D. Hilton on June 20, 1952 at the Medaryville Christian Church. He died Dec. 15, 2003.

Mrs. Hilton graduated from Medaryville High School in 1946. She was proud to be a farm wife. For several years, she worked as a bookkeeper at Pulaski County Farm Bureau. She was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church and the O.E.S. #310 in Medaryville. She was a member of Gingham Pals Home Extension Club.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel Medaryville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m.,  Wednesday (March 23), at the funeral home with Don Nedza officiating.
Burial will be in White Post Cemetery, Medaryville.
