Daniel J. Dickensheets

WINAMAC - Daniel J. Dickensheets, 66, of Winamac, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 1, at Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette.
He was born Sept. 16, 1952 in Logansport, to the late Richard F. and Marjorie Ann Morgan Dickensheets.
He is survived by:
Jayne Sadler, Lafayette, Sister
David Dickensheets Winamac, Brother
Duane( Kelly) Dickensheets, Monticello, Brother
James (Jenniffer) Dickensheets , Lafayette, Brother
Randal Dickensheets, Detroit, Brother
Nieces: Shawn, Casey, Barbara and Meredith

Mr. Dickensheets was a 1970 graduate of Winamac Community High School. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University in 1974. He had worked at Plymouth Tube Company, Braun Corporation and Whallon Machine as a design engineer. He retired eight years ago. He enjoyed running and bicycling. He had cycled every county road in Pulaski County. He also enjoyed gardening and watching sports. He was an avid Purdue fan.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home with Theresa Fischer Funeral Celebrant officiating. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
