Barry G. Trueblood
April 18, 1965 to August 11, 2018
WINAMAC - Barry G. Trueblood, 53, of Elizabeth, IL passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 11, in Bolingbrook, IL.
He was born April 18, 1965 in Lowell, to Marvin Lee and Sandra Lynn Taylor Trueblood. In 1974, his family moved to Pulaski County from Crown Point. He married Katrina Garrison in Tennnessee on Sept. 14, 1996. She survives.

Mr. Trueblood was a member of the Francesville Christian Church. He was very well respected in the golf course industry, spending many years building golf courses in several states for such notables as Fred Couples, Tom Watson, Tom Weiskopf and Andy North, among others. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed playing golf, especially with family and friends.
He was a 10-year member of 4-H and was successful in showing hogs and horses. He was especially fond of his horse, Rumcake, whom he showed both in 4-H and in open shows for many years. In 1983, he graduated from West Central High School in Francesville, where he loved playing football. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity while attending Purdue University. He was also a founding member and officer of the Purdue Rodeo Club. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 17, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home with Rev. James Ketchen officiating.
Memorial donations may be given to Disabled American Veterans or to a charity of the donor's choice.
