WINAMAC - Infant Jason Michael Nelson, three hours old, of Winamac, passed away Thursday July 26, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

He was born July 26, 2018 in Winamac to Caitlin Jenna Stankus and Trevor James Nelson.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Caitlin Jenna Stankus of Winamac, father, Trevor James Nelson of Chesterton; maternal grandparents, Melissa and Shannon Calvert, Winamac; maternal great-grandparents, Judy Stankus, Rob Stankus and Caroline Calvert; and paternal grandparents Curtis Lee and Georgianna Nelson of Chesterton. He is also survived by his aunts, Abby Stankus, Jessica Calvert, Breanna Gilbert, Joey Myer, Brooke Moser and Jennifer Myers. Also surviving is one uncle, Kalaeb Moser.

The baby was preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Stankus, maternal grandfather, Ricky Moser Jr. and his maternal great-grandfather Randy Calvert.

A private graveside service will be held at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
