Raymond A. Duzan

January 21, 1940 to July 30, 2018

WINAMAC - Raymond Arnold "Ray" Duzan, 78, of Winamac, passed away Monday, July 30, in Winamac.

He was born Jan. 21, 1940 in Indianapolis, to the late Raymond Samuel and Lenna May Swink Duzan. He graduated from Carmel High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division. On Nov. 16, 1990, he married Norma Enriqueta Cardenas Travi in Lima, Peru. She survives.

5 Grandchildren: Brandy, Jared David, Andrew, Emily and Samuel
1 Great Granddaughter: Tessa

Mr. Duzan worked his entire life as a quality control engineer in the aviation and automotive industry. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, hunting and running. In the 90s,  completed several marathons. In recent years, he enjoyed walking. He was a talented carpenter and taxidermist.  He was self-taught in the age-old art of flint knapping (making arrowheads).

A bilingual funeral mass will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (900 E. 191st St. Noblesville 46060) with Rev. Michael Bower officiating.

Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Pulaski Animal Center or in the form of Mass Intentions.
