Mikel E. Stump

December 29, 1953 to August 3, 2018

WINAMAC - Mikel E. "Mike" Stump, 64, of Tampa, Fla. (formerly of Winamac) passed away at 5:29 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at Florida Hospital Tampa, surrounded by his family, friends and coworkers.

He was born Dec. 29, 1953 in Lafayette, to the late Claude "Bud" and Mildred "Midge" Hanner Stump. He graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1971.

Nichole (Chris) Brown, Logansport, Daughter 
Four Grandchildren: Mitchell, Kaley, Hayden and Ellah 
Helen (Jay) Chamness, Winamac, Sister
Anita (John) Gehlhausen, Loogootee, Sister
Six Nieces and Nephews: Missie (Scott), Jeff (Jen), Billy (Kayla), Brent (Ashley), Alyssa (Aaron) and Chantel (Breighton).
12 Great Nieces and Nephews: Bethany, Erika, Katelin, Kyle, Shelby, Aubrie, Aleaha, Colton, Easton, Adalyn, Lyla and Jett.

Four Step Children: Harold, Tiffany, Ryan and Crystal (Tony) 
Three Step Grandchildren: Breanna, Talia and Luchia

Mr. Stump worked at B&S Radio in Winamac for many years alongside his parents. In 1994, Mike moved from Winamac to Tampa. He was  employed as a telemetry technician at Florida Hospital Tampa. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed Corvettes and motorcycles. He also enjoyed the TV shows Two and Half Men, Law & Order and Big Bang Theory. He loved his dogs, Maggie and Mitzie, as well as his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service willl follow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jeff Seger officiating. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pulaski Animal Center, or Winamac Community HS Athletic Department, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
