WINAMAC - Robert Martin "Bob" Rater, 76, of Anderson (formerly of Winamac), passed away at 6:20 a.m., Monday, June 18, at Community Hospital, Anderson.

He was born March 8, 1942 in Chicago. Although he was disabled, he was a very talented artist and enjoyed sharing with others.

Survivors include: 
Jean Nelson, Logansport, Sister 
Gerry Rater, Winamac, Sister 
Linda (Douglas) Kucera, Plymouth, Sister 
Leroy (Suzie) Rater, Medaryville, Brother 
Peggy Riddle, Akron, Sister 
Several Nieces and Nephews

Preceded in death by: 
Roy & Virginia "Ginny" Rater, Parents

Mr. Rater was very social and especially enjoyed outings with his friend, Lisa. He loved life but more than anything, he loved the Lord.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 23, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.
