FRANCESVILLE - Ethel Joan Gutwein, 80, of Francesville, passed away at 6:25 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, at the Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville.

She was born Feb. 18, 1938 in Rensselaer, to the late Richard and Zura Ethel Snedeker Streitmatter. She married Harvey Fredrick Gutwein on Sept. 20, 1992, at the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville. Harvey passed away on May 22, 2011.

Mrs. Gutwein was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville. She was a former floral designer at Jordan's Floral, Rensselaer. She also worked at Schumacher Electric in Rensselaer for 26 years. She enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states, as well as many countries.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 15, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville; and one hour prior to services at the church. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 16, at the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville.
Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
