Aletha I. Solomon

April 20, 1932 to May 30, 2018

WINAMAC - Aletha I. Solomon, 86, Logansport, passed away at 4:47 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, at Logansport Memorial Hospital, Logansport.

She was born April 20, 1932, in Winamac, to the late Kenneth and Lottie Belle Marvin Clark. She married James Earl Solomon on Sept. 22, 1951 in Lake Bruce. He died on Nov. 18, 1989.

Vicky Hinkle, Logansport, Daughter 
Robin (Theresa) Solomon, Winamac, Son 
Lisa (Eli) Van Es, Logansport, Daughter 
Ruth (Bob) Camarata, Waterloo, Niece 
8 grandchildren 
7 Great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by: 
Debora Craft, Daughter 
4 sisters: Violet Bowen, Dorothy Hartman, Juanita Clark, Thelma Hinson 
1 Brother: Arnold Mike Clark

Mrs. Solomon was a retired sales clerk. She had worked at the Kmart store in Logansport for 20 years. She moved to Sebring, FL and worked at a Kmart there for four years. She returned to Logansport in 2017. She attended Star City United Methodist Church, Star City. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers and the ocean. She also enjoyed her poodles and traveling. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, June 10, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m., at the mortuary with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be at Reed Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorials may be given to the Cass County Humane Society.
