Joseph Pesaresi

February 13, 1947 to May 16, 2018

WINAMAC - Joseph P. "Joe" Pesaresi, 71, of Winamac, passed away, surrounded by his family, at 12 noon Wednesday, May 16, at home.

He was born Feb. 13, 1947 in Logansport, to the late Walter and Theresa Digilio Pesaresi. He was a 1966 graduate of Winamac High School. On Dec. 31, 1976, he married Terry Weaver in Ft. Wayne. She survives. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac.

As one of the family owners of Winamac Coil Spring in Kewanna, Mr. Pesaresi was serving as CEO. His career there spanned nearly 50 years. He was active in national and regional spring industry associations. He was an avid golfer and was a member of several golf clubs where he enjoyed the time spent with friends and family. He was a big sports fan, especially of golf and racing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.

A scriptural wake service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 20, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m., Sunday; and 9 to 10 a.m., Monday, May 21, at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m., Monday, May 21, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (to support further advancements in neuroendocrine cancer research).
