Raymond W. Cooper
March 29, 1935 to April 11, 2018
LOWELL - Raymond W. Cooper, 83, of Medaryville, passed away Wednesday, April 11.
He was born March 29, 1935.
He is survived by his children, Gloria (Larry) Jillson, Diane Yawn, Wesley Cooper, Carol Swisher, Judith (Stephen) Miller, Betty McElroy; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Albert Cooper; close friend, Joanne Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, and many siblings.
Mr. Cooper retired from Thrall Car in Chicago Heights and was an avid outdoorsman.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. (CT), Sunday, April 15, at Sheets Funeral Home, Lowell. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 16, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice.
