Suzanne Mitross

November 23, 1949 to February 26, 2018

NORTH JUDSON - Suzanne Mitross, 67 of Winamac, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, at her home, peacefully and surrounded by her family.

Shewas born Nov. 23, 1949 in Kouts, to the late Orie and Helen Hill Reinhardt. She grew up in Kouts, until the family moved in 1966 to the farm in North Judson. She graduated in 1968 from North Judson San-Pierre High School.
She married Harry A. Mitross Jr. who preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2000.

She is survived by son Simon (Amanda) Mitross, Winamac; grandchildren Nathan and Jacob Mitross, Winamac; sisters Helen Miller, DeMotte, Shirley Kniefel (Owen Summers), Valparaiso, Vera (Wesley) Birky, Valparaiso, Norma (Ronald) Finney, Valparaiso, Wanda Reinhardt, North Judson, Diane (Dennis) Kucinski, Valparaiso, Lois Howe, Valparaiso, and Pam Reinhardt (Keith Tosseng), Dyer; brothers Vernon "Bud" (Verlyn) Reinhardt, Arizona, and Donald (Darlene) Reinhardt, North Judson.

Suzannewas proceeded in death by brother Dale Reinhardt, sisters Verna "Cookie" Greer, and Mary K. Reinhardt.

Mrs. Mitross and her husbandlived in Lake Station for many years, then moved to Winamac in the 1980s to be closer to their family. She worked at Our Lady of Holy Cross, in San Pierre for many years. Later she continued her passion at Pulaski Health Care in Winamac where she dedicated herself to taking care of others, making people happy and making people laugh with her witty sense of humor. She was a proud grandmother. She enjoyed shopping, eating out, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon (CT), Friday, March 2, at O'Donnell Funeral Home, North Judson. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon. A graveside service will be at San Pierre Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Cunningham of St. Peters Lutheran Church of North Judson. Doug Neilson of North Judson will be the vocalist.
