FRANCESVILLE - Dwight C. "Charlie" Lewark, 61, of Francesville, passed away at 12:55 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at his home after a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 23, 1957 in Winamac, to the late Leslie and Leona Archer Lewark. He was raised in Medaryville, and attended West Central High School. He also lived in Idaville for many years.

Mr. Lewark enjoyed the outdoors and had a big heart for taking in stray animals. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 4, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 6 p.m., Sunday, March 4, at the funeral home. Private burial will be at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
