Imogene L. Jenkins
June 25, 1920 to February 20, 2018
FRANCESVILLE - Imogene Louise Jenkins, 97, of Francesville, passed away at 1:57 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville.
She was born June 25, 1920 in Monon, to the late John Leighton and Elsie Fern Kneisley Toumine. On Sept. 1, 1939, she married Robert Chester Jenkins at the Monon ME Church parsonage. He died April 27, 2000.

Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of the Pulaski Presbyterian Church and Tippecanoe Chapter 96 of the Order of Eastern Star where she served twice as the Worthy Matron. She was active in her church. She sang in the choir and organized many funeral dinners. She was also a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau. She enjoyed spending time with her family and made many quilts and comforters for them.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. An Eastern Star service will be at 3 p.m., at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday Feb. 24 , at the funeral home with Rev. Jessica Young Brust officiating. Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
