MEDARYVILLE - Lawrence R. "Hedge" Toosley, 62 of Medaryville, passed away, Sunday, Nov. 26, surrounded by his family.

He was born Jan. 4, 1955, in Rensselaer to the late William A. and Laverne E. Dreyer Toosley. He was born into a loving home of 12 siblings. He married Tammy Marie Dulin on March 22, 1975. She survives.

Mr. Toosley worked 39 years at US Steel and was a proud member of the Steel Workers Union Local #1014. He was a lifelong resident of Medaryville and loved his community and his family. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery, Medaryville.
