February 4, 1935 to October 22, 2017

WINAMAC - Lawrence W. "Larry" Overmyer, 82, of Kewanna passed away Sunday, Oct. 22, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.

He was born Feb. 4, 1935. He married Dorothy Mikel, and they had three daughters. His wife preceded him in death. He remarried twice more.

Survivors include:
Daughters, Cynthia Richardson, Catherine Todd and Sandy Beachy
Two sons-in-law
Nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild 

Mr. Overmyer Larry grew up in the Lake Bruce area, and lived in the Kewanna area many years. He attended Manchester College. He worked as an auto body man most of his life. He opened Larry's Body Shop in Ligonier in the 1960s and ran it for many years. In addition, he loved to restore antique cars, do art (including oil painting and metal sculptures), and was very involved in community and civic organizations. He participated in Shriners, Lions Club, and city council among other organizations. He went to heaven on his anniversary with wife Dorothy.

No services will be held.

Private burial will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ligonier.
