Donald D. Tiede
April 16, 1941 to October 19, 2017
FRANCESVILLE - Donald D. "Skip" Tiede, 76, of Francesville, passed away at 1:28 p.m., Thursday, Oct.19, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.
He was born April 16, 1941 in Rensselaer, to the late Donald V. and Marian R. Ringen Tiede. He married Becky Goble on June 9, 1963 in Winamac. She survives.

Grandchildren: Amber (Bart) Leman, Alyssa (Justin) Delph, Kara (Jason) Bohlinger, Kristy (Jason) Carlile, Kaitlyn (Jake) Podell, and Dakota Tiede.
12 Great Grandchildren: Kyra, Ryder, Eli, Avery, Tenley, Taylor, Allie, Sophia, Simon, Taelyn, Parker and Lanie.

Mr. Tiede was retired from the Pulaski County Highway Department and had formerly worked for FTC, Inc. He was a member of the Francesville First Christian Church as well as the Francesville Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years where he had formerly served as fire chief. He was also a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association. He enjoyed mushroom hunting and puttering around Francesville in his pickup. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. The true joy in his life was his family. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home with Pastor James Ketchen officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Francesville Volunteer Fire Department or Francesville First Christian Church Youth Group.
