Carol Copeland Boyd
September 19, 1927 to August 23, 2017
WINAMAC - Carol Sue Copeland Boyd, 89, of Winamac, passed away at 12:50 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.
She was born Sept. 19, 1927 in Winamac, to the late Earl Henry and Elizabeth "Bess" Miller Heater. She graduated from Winamac High School in 1945. On Nov. 2, 1945, she married Paul Fredrick Copeland. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1977. She married Robert Dean Boyd on Oct. 20, 1979 He survives.

Mrs. Boyd was a lay pastor with the First United Methodist Church from 1959 to 1962. She enjoyed gardening, being surrounded by nature, and oil and water color painting. She was a published author, and wrote for both the Pulaski County Journal and The Snowshoe newspaper of Fairfield, Idaho where she and her husband lived for 12 years, raising sheep, bees, and grandchildren. They returned to Winamac in 1995.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A private graveside service will be held at the Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary, Winamac.
