Dennis F. Pletka
August 21, 1938 to July 29, 2017
WINAMAC - Dennis F. Pletka, 78, of Winamac, passed away at 5:10 a.m., Saturday, July 29, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
He was born Aug. 21, 1938 in Winamac, to the late Frank and Martha Pucka Pletka. He graduated from Winamac High School in 1957. On Aug. 30, 1970, he married DeAnna K. Sparks in Logansport. She survives.

Mr. Pletka retired from Plymouth Tube Company in Winamac after 30 years. He was a former coach with Winamac Youth Soccer for many years. He enjoyed horse racing, sports and his cats. He was an avid Cubs fan and a frustrated Bears and Notre Dame fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 31, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home with Rev Terry Bennis officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be made to the Winamac Volunteer Fire Department or the Pulaski County EMS.
