James E. Bogart

FRANCESVILLE - James E. Bogart, 83 of North Judson (near Medaryville), died at 5:45 a.m., Monday, July 24, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born on March 19, 1934 in LaCrosse, to the late William and Clara James Bogart. He graduated from Wolcott High School in 1952. On June 5, 1954, he married his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Ruth Anliker in Monticello. She survives.

Mr. Bogart was a lifelong livestock and grain farmer. He delighted in blessing his family and friends with his fresh sweetcorn crop each summer. He served on the Pulaski County 4-H Swine Committee while his children were in 4-H and was a former board member of the Kankakee Valley REMC for 18 years. He was a member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church and was baptized on March 1, 1980. He enjoyed music and attending gospel music concerts. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 27, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 28, at the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville. The ministers of the church will officiate. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humanitarian Distribution Center, or a charity of the donor's choice.
