FRANCESVILLE - Derrick W. Myers, 46, of Lafayette, passed away at 12:52 a.m., Friday, July 7, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette.

He was born July 23, 1970 in Winamac, to Donald W. and Mary M. Eads Myers.

Angela Myers, Lafayette, Daughter 
Kayla Emerson, Lafayette, Step-Daughter 
Natasha Emerson, Lafayette, Step-Daughter

Gene (Angela) Frier, Sr., Monticello, Step-Brother 
Melissa (Tim) Tiede, Monticello, Step-Sister 
Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins

Preceded in death by: 
Mary M. Eads Myers, Mother 
Angela J. Myers, Sister

Mr. Myers was a 1990 graduate of West Central High School. He enjoyed driving semi and was an avid NASCAR and Jimmy Johnson fan. He was also a collector of Andy Griffith memorabilia. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 9, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, July 10, at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Dewlen officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
