Douglas F. Fox
February 25, 1953 to March 24, 2017
ROYAL CENTER - Douglas F. Fox, 64, of Royal Center, passed away at 12:55 p.m., Friday, March 24, at Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport.
Born Feb. 25, 1953 in Logansport, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy Ringen Fox. On Sept. 20, 1986, he married Nancy Ann Busch. She preceded him in death on Sept. 13, 2013.
Survivors include his children, Erica S. Field (Mark) of Kewanna, Matthew D. Fox of Royal Center, Katy R. Fox (Cole Callaway) of Brookston and Ross W. Fox of Royal Center; grandchildren, Jadyn, Ali and McKenna Field of Kewanna; brothers, Ray Fox (Robin) of Brownsburg, Rich Fox (Marcia) of Edwardsburg, Mich. and Ron Fox (Laura) of Star City; and sister, Kay Allen (Don) of Francesville.
Mr. Fox graduated from West Central High School in 1971 and Purdue University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in agricultural systems management. He was a farmer who loved working with livestock and raising row crops. He worked in sales at Nichols Tillage Tools for over 30 years. He was an avid Purdue fan and enjoyed watching sports and being outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his “little” girls.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel. A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Dominic Petan officiating. Burial will be at St. James Salem Cemetery, Francesville.
