David M. Riemenschneider
April 25, 1931 to February 15, 2017
WINAMAC - Donald Martin Riemenschneider, 85, of Logansport, passed away at 11:49 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, at St. Vincent Heart Center, Indianapolis.
He was born April 25, 1931 in Winamac, to the late Charles Martin and Florence Myrtle Howard Riemenschneider.
He is survived by:
Gary (Sandra) Riemenschneider, Momence, IL. Son
8 Grandchildren: Nikita, Haley, Miranda, Tyler, Uriah, Hannah, Justin, and Elijah
3 Great Grandchildren
Georgiann Pickens, Lucerne, Sister

Mr. Riemenschneider was a graduate of Lucerne High School and attended Indiana Business College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Logansport VFW Post #3790. He was retired from the Logansport State Hospital where he had worked for 42 years. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler. He was a devoted Indiana Pacers fan. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home with Kevin Nowak officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.
Memorial donations may be made to a local Veterans of Foreign Wars.
