WINAMAC - Joyce A. Weaver, 73, of Star City, passed away at 12:25 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

She was born July 20, 1943 in Chicago, to the late Albin and Dorothy Piet Wegner Sr. She attended St. Michael's College in Chicago. She married David E. Weaver on June 20, 1970 in Chicago. He died Nov. 24, 2000.

Mrs. Weaver was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski. She was a member of the Indiana County Surveyors Association. She had served as Pulaski County Surveyor from 2000 until 2012. She enjoyed going to the Four Winds Casino with her girlfriends. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan. She watched game shows and worked crossword puzzles.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Thursday Feb. 23, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A rosary service will be at 3 p.m., Thursday and a scriptural wake service will be at 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski. Burial will be at St Joseph West Cemetery, Pulaski.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
