Emily C. Albrecht

December 7, 1920 to January 25, 2011

FRANCESVILLE - Emily Catherine Albrecht, 90, of 14533 West 550 South Francesville, died at 5:45 p.m.,, Tuesday, Jan. 25, at her home, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 7, 1920 in Rantoul, Ill., to the late Stanislaus and Clara Lena Rausch Federer. She married Jacob Albrecht, Jr. in 1945. He died May 4, 1986.

Mrs. Albrecht's family moved to Francesville from Illinois. She graduated from Francesville High School in 1940. She was a proud farm wife and enjoyed taking lunch to the men in the field and helping in any way she could. She was an avid supporter of the Republican Party.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to  12:30 p.m., Monday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville, The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m., (Monday, Jan. 31), at the funeral home with Rev. Marjorie Egger officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.

Memorial donations may be given to the Ronald Reagan Rach or to the Jasper County Hospice.
