MEDARYVILLE - LeRoy Collis, 66, of Summersville, Ky. (formerly of Fennville, Mich.) passed away at his home Sunday, Jan. 8.

He was born Oct. 12, 1950 to Walter and Geneva Randolph Collis.

He is survived by:

Eric Collis, Sturgis, Michigan, Son 
Rodney Collis, Monticello, Son 
Amanda (Jason Irvine) Collis, Hillsdale, Mich., Daughter 
9 Grandchildren: Damien, McKenzie, Brianna, Kegan, Kirsten, Leah, Lindsey, Anna, and Kyanna.

Teresa Martin, Pullman, Mich., Sister 
Walter "Junior" Collis, Saugatuck, Mich., Brother

Mr. Collis served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Clarion Technologies in South Haven, Mich.He enjoyed restoring old cars and trucks. He enjoyed spending the last few years of his life at his home in Kentucky. He was a loving father and grandfather who especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Goodway Baptist Church, Medaryville. Burial will be at Goodway Cemetery, Medaryville. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
