WINAMAC - Infant Clayton Robert Davis, 15 months, of Winamac passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 9, at Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis.

He was born Sept. 28, 2015 in Winamac.

He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Kimberly Fritz Davis of Winamac and his siblings, Gavin Taylor, Brandon Davis Jr., and Kendra Davis, at home.

Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Rowena (Ken) Back of Enterprise, MS; paternal grandmother, Melissa Lamb of Winamac; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Cooper of Kokomo, and paternal great-grandmother, Phyllis Chambers of Middletown, OH; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Jason Mosley, and Ashley and Tim Davis Jr.; as well as many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by: maternal grandfather, Robert Fritz and paternal grandfather, Timothy Davis.

The family noted that "although he was only with us for a short time, Clayton brought us a lot of joy and was the happiest baby. His precious smile will be sadly missed by everyone."

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will be at Idle Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to Riley Hospital for Children or Calvary Baptist Church.
