Lorraine I. Galbreath

June 12, 1916 to January 9, 2011

WINAMAC - Lorraine I. Galbreath, 94 ,of 6682 English Drive, Avon, formerly of Star City, passed away at 5:38 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 9, in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

She was born June 12, 1916, in Volga, IA, to the late Lawrence and Myra Wells Hulverson. She married Marion Wilbert Galbreath on Jan. 8, 1946, Volga, IA. He died on Nov. 11, 1994.

Mrs. Galbreath lived most of her life in Star City and moved to Avon, eight years ago. She was a cook in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She was a former Cub Scout den mother.

Friends may call after 12 noon Saturday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Saturday, Jan. 15), at the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Davidson officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
