FRANCESVILLE - Myrtis J. Anliker, 80, of Francesville, passed away at 9:16 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette.
He was born March 9, 1935 in Francesville to the late John Edward and Louise Tyler Anliker. He married Phyllis R. Malchow on Oct. 7, 1956 in Francesville. She survives.

Mr. Anliker was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church. He was a lifelong farmer and owned Anliker Trucking. Over the years he also worked at Monon Trailer. He enjoyed tinkering in his workshop. He loved his pets. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a generous man and never knew a stranger. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 1, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the Medaryville Christian Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 2, at Medaryville Christian Church, Medaryville, with Don Nedza officiating. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
