WINAMAC - Arvilla A. Crissinger, 80, of Star City, passed away at 9:50 a.m., Friday, Oct. 30, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.

She was born April 9, 1935, in Denham, to the late Ralph and Maxine S. Werth Rater. She married Thomas W. Crissinger on Dec. 3, 1954 in Jeffersonville. He died Sept. 15, 2013.

Mrs. Crissinger had worked as a telephone operator for several years. She retired as a nursing assistant at the Logansport State Hospital. She was a member of the Denham Baptist Church, Denham. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and watching all types of sports. She was a big NASCAR fan. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Conway Twitty. She also enjoyed watching and listening to birds. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

No funeral service will be scheduled.

Memorial donations may be given to the cancer fund.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary, Winamac.
